1.
Born 02:32
new born nothing wears you out true form funnier or loud think that I've known that doubt new one never talk about get dumb say it less aloud I'll take the other route why trouble why spin out don't think I’ll be there too long to really wonder I’m not gonna ponder it because its easy, not because i have to air is getting breezy any way to get thru new born nothing wears you out true to form never talked about i’ll take the wrong road out
2.
Loaner 02:19
A listener, not a talker Away but not a goner Floaing in the water, treading away A thinker not a knower A keeper for a loaner A place without a holder, Somewhere to stay Putting out the fire Sleep when I get tired A storm upon the rider let it soak thru now’s no time to be petrified there’s no time to be petrified what it isn’t won’t arrive so catch you on the other side
3.
Faster 02:02
an honest effort to convince a simple getup, a hinted question, a planted lesson, a wakeup all nondescript and effortless where does it come from? feeling unwelcome seemingly something not to untuck what’s one good thing about following the answer? when it’s a runaround, I couldn’t know you faster. I’m breaking for new ground, it cuts in the cold to swallow it whole accept what i’m told carry the load down the old road
4.
Better Past 02:45
hoping for a better past is wasted effort when only the future knows jumping in the water, yeah, I’d learn a lesson. breathe deep even just to hold feeling kinda nervous, like I’m in the cooker, but don’t know why it’s for yeah, I guess what happenes happens give me understanding just a little more happy now, it’s hard to describe? it’s a waste of time staying with the moment suck it up can do it somehow walk the runaround staying in cause I can pulling for another chance to do it better or to leave it undisturbed? meeting with a meaner habit you can’t take it back, but you can say it first i found comfort in consequence found peace in the ignorance far out on a shallow ledge been passed off a heavy stone can only carry alone inside of me all along
5.
Let It Go 02:12
I know you don’t Tried so hard, let it go I know I won’t for long The freeze, the flow Now’s a good time to fold Thought it was gold, it’s gone Agreement broke Tend only to my own Felt like the joke was on Can see the trees, Theyre not registering The feeling’s fleet, for naught
6.
Glow 03:08
set it outside the glow if at all, cost unknown looking in, sift thru awe, spin into a busy fall sitting it out at all even when i’m down, i’m watching it all from a mile away even though I’m down I’m watching it even though i’m out, i’m washing that stich without inching away even when I’m down, I’m watching it never leave my light on if I am frightened all inside my mind, I think I found a way in can’t be satisfied strolling toward the peak, and settled on the side - found myself a good friend
7.
Blue 02:27
I’d do whatever I have to Get through another morning Unknown whatever was told, and now’s soon Rains when it’s pouring Come back, I didn’t mean it like that Routine Saying anything I believe I’m closer to the core When nothings perfect If ever worth it Not bad. Give up whatever I could have To find composure Timed wrong, don’t notice until it’s a close call Flippin it over It’s not even like that And not like I could disagree I’m not gonna go there As long as it’s unhealthy
8.
Learning 01:34
Not going back Like in the summer Half-hearted nihlist Markin my tracks Threw out the scorecard Been better stayin in Crossed the threshold, Said I’d never Let it get that far again Know what I don’t, The party’s over. Lights on, I’m back in bed Learning to accept it See if it reveals any holes Looking for perspective Working out the knots in the hold Wanting now to feel it But it couldn’t stay what I’d known Tryna not to destroy it Time to put it down, let it soak
9.
In the Car 02:36
in the dark, in the car pass it over took too long, see it off days are somber half a smile, half as much holding over play the song, play along pay it forward skip the scenes, crunch the leaves dozing often something new, something’s loose in the forest sad at then, mad at now always on it never peace, give to me i’m begging for it once i’ll have it twice a funny means, a better time bending it back, keep it in place humming along. making a face in the car might be far, pace it hard ended up getting what? in the dark
10.
Back Again 02:21
There and back again Wondered what it’s like Seeing comfort there, everybody sighs Let go, no control, can if I’m alive down and up the coast, seeking where I’ll hide Getting older got scared I'd lose the drive all’s for nothing, and years wasted inside I’ll stumble in the dark, grasping for a line empty handed and begging for time Drone on Racing toward the dawn I can’t decide Sleep in, besting all the bets again An inch behind Believe my eyes Will do it right, Right?
11.
Don't Mind 02:34
seek it you know you find it only when you’re freakin depend rely upon yourself when you are deep in don’t mind the time that’s slipped away while you looked inside peeking through fingers opened up enough to see light think to raise the blinds by the time that it is dark go sit on the porch, take a walk around the park wish I could get lost, but I know it in my heart fishin for some matches but they’re troubled for a spark and now i’m walking down the block with a jangle in my step pockets feeling bare, but that’s not what i take with and the only thing I know is I gotta do my best
12.
Hook 02:23
what does this one look like? what’ve I resigned what’ll this one look like little later down the line but the meaning’s lost now and i’m doing just fine sinker’s lost the hook now but i’m treading alright wish i knew, wish there was a way to know everything I’ve felt under the setting sun wishing that i didn’t feel so fuckin dumb tending to my garden, tryna let guard down ok to be tender, whether or not you’re around matter’s not the weather caring less for time but a sequence ordered, thinkin that’s my kind try to get something right heading out towards the light knowing that I don’t, and that’s fine couldn’t have asked for more - just enough to ignore. hello laying low, keep it high
